## How we checked

We enumerated Chick-fil-A Canada's customer-support pages from its own FAQ sitemap and searched them for halal, zabiha, religious and certification terms. We opened the sourcing, free-range, nutrition and vegetarian answers directly, plus four individual Canadian restaurant pages. We checked the registers of the Canadian Halal Food Certifying Agency and the Halal Monitoring Authority (HMA) Canada.

The Canadian locations directory did not render for us, and the two certifier registers display their certified businesses as images rather than text, so "not listed" is weaker evidence than it sounds.
