Before you pay, not after
- Show your active card before paying. Staff check the live card on your phone, no code, no coupon, no scanner.
- One card covers up to 6 people per visit on the same bill, when the cardholder is present and subject to the restaurant’s own terms.
- Each offer states its own days, hours and conditions. Takeout-only, selected dishes, a minimum spend or no stacking with other promotions are shown on the restaurant’s listing before you go.
- In person only. The offer applies when you eat in or pick up at the restaurant, not through delivery apps.
- Standard menu prices apply without a valid membership, and the restaurant keeps what it earns; you never pay a restaurant through Halal Food Pass.

How do I get my discount?
Open your digital Lime Card and show it to the staff before you pay at any participating restaurant. The member discount comes straight off your bill: nothing to scan, no coupon to redeem.
How much does the Lime Card cost?
$2.99 per month or $25 per year. Your first month is free and needs no credit card, so nothing renews on its own; if you want to keep the card afterwards you pick monthly or yearly then.
Is it really one month free?
Yes, your first month is completely free, and no credit card is required to start it. We hold no payment details, so nothing can ever be charged automatically.
How does billing work?

Which restaurants are included?
Participating halal restaurants across Ontario, currently in Mississauga. Each restaurant sets its own member offer, shown on its own listing with its live days, hours and conditions, and the directory's "Member offers" filter lists every one of them right now.
Is it only for Muslims?
Not at all: Halal Food Pass is for everyone. The restaurants are halal; the great food and the savings are for anyone who walks in. Whoever you are, show your card, enjoy the meal, pay less.
Can I share a plan?
Each membership belongs to one named cardholder. When that member is present, the restaurant’s offer can cover up to 6 people on the same bill (subject to the restaurant’s terms), so one card already covers a family dinner. Individual sign-ups only for now.
Is the discount valid on delivery apps?
The member offer applies in person at participating restaurants when you show your card before paying. It isn’t applied through third-party delivery apps.
What if I do not save enough?
One good dinner can cover the month: a $70 bill at 15% off saves $10.50, more than a $2.99 month. If it is not for you, simply do not continue: there is nothing to cancel.
What if a restaurant won’t honour the offer?
Tell us and we’ll make it right: a valid declined offer is made good with a free month on us. You never pay restaurants through Halal Food Pass, so there’s no meal refund to chase.
Is my payment secure?
Your free month needs no card at all. If you later choose to keep the Pass, payments are processed securely and we never store your card details.
Do you certify that restaurants are halal?
No. Halal Food Pass is a halal restaurant search and discovery platform, not a halal certifier. Each restaurant provides and is responsible for its own halal information, which we display as given, with or without the Lime Card.
