A little about this place
About Afghan Restaurant St Johns
Afghan Restaurant is the exact Google Maps place at 375 Duckworth Street with the same phone and legacy website as HFP. Google and the restaurant Facebook page support the local identity, while a provincial record’s 375A unit and a conflicting postal code elsewhere still require normalization. Reviewers commonly praise flavourful curries and kebabs, generous portions, affordability and friendly service. Lower-rated reviewers describe bland or dry meat, sour lentils and poor complaint handling; one reviewer also alleges discriminatory treatment, which HFP has not verified.
A direct recheck of the exact Google Maps About panel on 2026-09-04 lists a washroom but exposes no parking or accessibility category or attribute. A current first-party menu was not accessible.
