A little about this place
About Church's Texas Chicken Newmarket
Church's Texas Chicken Newmarket is an HFP-listed fried chicken, fast food and family platters venue at 16925 Yonge Street, Newmarket, ON L3Y 5Y1. Retained official brand-level menu evidence lists fried chicken, chicken sandwich, chicken tenders and honey-butter biscuits, but exact branch availability is not fully established and remains flagged. In the directly inspected Google Maps Most relevant sample, reviewers praised fried chicken, biscuits, friendly staff and value.
The Lowest panel raised dry or old chicken, order and price disputes, hours and service concerns, plus an unverified illness allegation; these are public opinions, not independently verified facts. Google Maps lists a washroom and wheelchair-accessible washroom, seating, entrance and parking, plus free lot and street parking with plentiful spaces. Halal Food Pass has not inspected the parking or facilities.
The live Maps name, street address and phone matched the intended branch; the separate Unit 20 versus Unit 21 source conflict remains unresolved and was not silently overwritten. Halal scope remains restaurant-reported through HFP and has not been independently certified by HFP; diners should confirm current sourcing and any certification directly.
