Dav's Hotspot builds its menu on mac and pasta: mac and cheese, rasta pasta and alfredo, taken plain or loaded with jumbo Cajun shrimp and wings under the house secret sauce. Wings come breaded or not, in BBQ, sweet chilli, hot and jerk. Wraps run from the Loaded Mac Wrap to a jerk chicken wrap built on fried rice, and loaded fries, Miami beef ribs, striploin, lamb chops and corn bread fill out the rest. The kitchen works a Caribbean and Southern register. It occupies a unit on Mid-Way Boulevard in Mississauga, open evenings and late on Friday and Saturday.
