A little about this place
About Royal Garden Oakville
Royal Garden Oakville is an Indo-Chinese and Hakka dining room in a plaza on North Service Road West, with a Nepali side to the menu. Momos, including the soupy jhol version, are the reason to come; Hakka noodles and chow mein, Manchurian dishes and spicy garlic fish fill out the rest of the list. Google's structured listing carries dine-in with table service, takeout, curbside pickup and delivery, catering, reservations, halal food among its offerings, a free parking lot and a family-friendly, LGBTQ+-friendly room.
Hot spring rolls arrive on the house often enough to count as house style rather than accident, and portions are generous. The batter-forward fried dishes are where it slips: the coating can outweigh the fish or chicken inside, and a dish can land flat on flavour. Rated 4.5 on Google from 330 ratings.
