First fast: expected 8 February 2027. Opening evening: expected 7 February. Eid al-Fitr: expected 9 March after 29 days, or 10 March if Ramadan completes 30 days.

These dates are tentative. Confirm the announcement followed by your local mosque or religious authority. A conditional day 30 is included for planning, not as a declaration that the month will last 30 days.

How to use the estimated times

Iftar time depends on your location. Open the city you need; do not use a national clock or assume Toronto's time applies elsewhere. The city pages use local timezones and stated central coordinates. Calgary and Edmonton use permanent Alberta Time, UTC-6, following the province's announced change from November 2026.

The ISNA convention here uses Fajr at 15 degrees below the horizon and sunset for iftar. Solar times are calculated using NOAA/Meeus equations and compared with Astral 3.2. The result is an estimate for planning, not a mosque-issued timetable or observation of the sky.
