A little about this place
About Alf Hana
Alf Hana is a small Middle Eastern shawarma counter at 6550 Meadowvale Town Centre Cir, listed by Google as a halal, Lebanese, Arab and falafel restaurant with dine-in, takeout and delivery. The menu is built on chicken and beef shawarma wraps, falafel wraps, shawarma over fries in the chicken-poutine style, and fattoush salad with chicken. Meat is grilled to order, the toppings are fresh and plentiful, and the price is fair for the portion.
Counter staff are friendly and familiar, and people who have been coming for years get their usual without asking. The other half of the picture is harder. Manner at the counter turns rude or dismissive, portions and sauce quantities have shrunk, and quality lapses: food served cold, or warmed through rather than freshly fried, and ingredients past their best. Posted closing times and advertised student deals are not always honoured.
