About Xawaash
Xawaash is a halal Somali and Mediterranean restaurant at 80 Courtneypark Drive East in Mississauga, one of two GTA locations, with a warmly decorated dining room, outdoor seating and space for private parties. Chicken mandi over jewelled rice is the signature, alongside fish mandi, beef and chicken suqaar with sabaayad flatbread, the Xawaash rice bowl, mixed grill platters and vegetarian stews, all brightened with bas bas hot sauce. Starters include samosas and lamb fatayer, with fresh juices, date cake and cheesecake to finish. Weekday lunch specials, a Ramadan iftar buffet, group bookings and dessert-making classes are offered.
