About Zauq
Zauq is a halal Pakistani restaurant at 1275 Eglinton Avenue East in Mississauga, in a large, newly fitted dining room in the Dixie Square plaza. The menu covers Pakistani and North Indian cooking alongside a Hakka Chinese section, with karahi in chicken, lamb and Shinwari styles, biryani, nihari, butter chicken and barbecue platters of kebabs and tikka. Kebab rolls in paratha, Hakka noodles, chilli chicken and dynamite shrimp fill out the menu, with halwa puri for breakfast and matka kulfi for dessert. Service is full-service dine-in with takeout and delivery, and the restaurant takes large-party bookings and event catering, including live barbecue.
