We enumerated Chick-fil-A Canada's customer-support pages from its own FAQ sitemap and searched them for halal, zabiha, religious and certification terms. We opened the sourcing, free-range, nutrition and vegetarian answers directly, plus four individual Canadian restaurant pages. We checked the registers of the Canadian Halal Food Certifying Agency and the Halal Monitoring Authority (HMA) Canada.
What we could not check
The Canadian locations directory did not render for us, and the two certifier registers display their certified businesses as images rather than text, so "not listed" is weaker evidence than it sounds. We also noticed Chick-fil-A Canada's expansion FAQ still refers to a target date that has passed, which suggests these pages are not closely maintained.
We have drafted a written enquiry to Chick-fil-A Canada asking whether any Canadian menu items are halal-certified, whether that is consistent nationally, and which certifier is involved. When they answer, their answer replaces this section and the date changes.
