A little about this place
About Biryani Master
Biryani Master cooks Hyderabadi dum biryani by the pot: saffron basmati layered over overnight-marinated meat, sealed under dough and steamed for hours, then served with burhani raita, salan and a wedge of lime. The range runs from dum chicken through slow-steamed goat mutton to a boneless version and a vegetable dum with paneer and cashew, and a family sharing degh feeds a table. The kitchen is halal and takes catering work. It sits on Argentia Road in the Meadowvale area of Mississauga, open daily for dine-in, takeaway and delivery.

What people enjoy
- Biryani, especially the kaju ghee roast and mutton, is aromatic and flavourful, and the pani puri stall is a hit.
- Portions are generous and prices are fair.
- The owners and staff are friendly and helpful.
Things to keep in mind
- Some biryani orders come out bland, dry or with the rice and masala poorly combined.
