Garage Steakhouse & Grill works from a short list of halal cuts: an eight-ounce fillet mignon, striploin at ten and twelve ounces, ribeye at twelve and sixteen, a T-bone pushing twenty and a tomahawk on a day's notice, each flame-grilled to order with peppercorn, mushroom or veal jus and a choice of fries or mash. Veal rib chop, oven-roasted chicken supreme, Atlantic salmon, a gourmet burger and two pastas fill out the mains, with spinach and artichoke dip, bruschetta and garlic butter shrimp to start. Mocktails stand in for a bar. It occupies a unit in Ridgeway Plaza on Odyssey Drive in western Mississauga.
